Apostolic Christian Assisted Living, for those who are semi-independent, yet want or need the security of knowing there is assistance available 24 hours a day. Our goal is not "to do", but to "assist" each resident with their needs. The environment is specifically designed for those who need assisted living. Each room has separate bedroom, living, and private bathroom areas. All rooms are equipped with a microwave, sink, and refrigerator. The common areas, including a cozy fireplace, living room, dining room, and craft room, are all within a short walking distance from each room. Three delicious home-cooked meals are prepared and served each day. Social, recreational, religious, and physical activities are planned with the residents’ input. This is not "like-home", this is the residents’ home and will be respected as such.

The Criteria for Living in this Home Are as Follows:

Continency

• Residents must be continent or able to manage their own incontinence.

Ambulation

• Residents who require total assistance to exit the building do not qualify.
• Residents who require a two-person transfer do not qualify.
• Wheelchairs or electric carts are allowed for transporting to other areas of the retirement facility.

Cognitive/Behavioral

• Residents who are an elopement risk do not qualify.
• Residents whose condition requires the use of physical constraints do not qualify.
• Residents with any behavioral symptom that exceeds manageability do not qualify.

Medically Heavy Care

• Residents requiring 24-hour skilled nursing care do not qualify.
